In honor of the historic 50th anniversary of the lunar landing, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute as a volunteer at Wilmington University's commemorative event. Leveraging my expertise in virtual reality (VR) development, I crafted an immersive VR experience that allowed participants to step into the shoes of astronauts and undertake lunar tasks, providing a captivating and educational journey into space exploration. Through this engaging VR simulation, attendees were able to delve deeper into the intricacies of the iconic lunar landing, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of this monumental event. This project aimed to merge technology and history, enriching the event and leaving a lasting impact on all those who experienced it.
